SUMMARY:Disaster Relief Trip to Asheville\, NC
DESCRIPTION:POJ’s Disaster Relief Mission Team is organizing a disaster relief mission trip from Feb. 8- 14\, 2026\, to help rebuild homes in the Asheville\, NC area. This region was devastated by Hurricane Helene in late 2024. \nA small church in Asheville\, North Carolina\, has offered to host our team. The local presbytery has scoped out several skilled jobs for us to help them with\, all still left from Hurricane Helene. \nThe host church has room for up to 12 people to sleep at the church using air mattresses and or cots. We will be doing our own cooking\, so a volunteer cook would be wonderful. \nMore details to follow. \nThis is a chance to make a tangible difference. If interested\, email Brown Pearson ASAP. \nKey Details: \n\nWho: All skill levels are needed for manual labor; we also need a volunteer cook or cooks.\nWhere: Small Asheville church hosts; Various worksites in the Asheville area.\nNew Volunteers: Stay tuned for more details or reach out to Brown with questions.
