DESCRIPTION:The POJ Leadership Connection Team is pleased to offer a new four-week course\, Presbyterian Polity 101\, designed for newly elected elders and deacons. \nVisit https://presbyteryofthejames.com/2024/02/10/training-events/ to register. \n  \nCOURSE DETAILS \n\n\nFormat: Four weekly\, one-hour sessions held via Zoom. \n\n\nCurriculum: Spiritual leadership\, congregations & meetings\, ordered ministries\, and the Four Councils of the PCUSA. Each session includes a handout with practical questions and scenarios. \n\n\nInstructor: Carson Rhyne\, Instructor in Presbyterian Polity at Union Presbyterian Seminary for 20 years. \n\n\nSCHEDULE & REGISTRATION \n             Participants May Choose One Session: \n\n\n\n\nTuesdays: 7:30-8:30 PM on October 28\, November 4\, 11\, and 18 \n\n\nThursdays: 7:30-8:30 PM on October 30\, November 6\, 13\, and 20 \n\n\n\n\nCost: $50 per congregation (covers unlimited participants from one church). \n\n\nClass Cap: Each session is limited to 24 participants. \n\n\nREGISTER at https://presbyteryofthejames.com/ BY OCT. 22 \nBe sure to register participants from your church by Oct. 22.
