DESCRIPTION:The POJ Leadership Connection Team is pleased to offer a new four-week course\, Presbyterian Polity 101\, designed for newly elected elders and deacons. \nVisit https://presbyteryofthejames.com/2024/02/10/training-events/ to register. \n  \nCOURSE DETAILS \n\n\nFormat: Four weekly\, one-hour sessions held via Zoom. \n\n\nCurriculum: Spiritual leadership\, congregations & meetings\, ordered ministries\, and the Four Councils of the PCUSA. Each session includes a handout with practical questions and scenarios. \n\n\nInstructor: Carson Rhyne\, Instructor in Presbyterian Polity at Union Presbyterian Seminary for 20 years. \n\n\nSCHEDULE & REGISTRATION \n             Participants May Choose One Session: \n\n\n\n\nTuesdays: 7:30-8:30 PM on October 28\, November 4\, 11\, and 18 \n\n\nThursdays: 7:30-8:30 PM on October 30\, November 6\, 13\, and 20 \n\n\n\n\nCost: $50 per congregation (covers unlimited participants from one church). \n\n\nClass Cap: Each session is limited to 24 participants. \n\n\nREGISTER BELOW BY OCT. 22 \nBe sure to register participants from your church by Oct. 22. If your congregation needs to attend both sessions\, please register for both separately.
